WHAT IS THE "BIO-INNOVATION DAY" AIMED AT ?

The University of Geneva, along with a number of other partners including the University of Lausanne and the EPFL, have decided to host a so-called "Bio-Innovation Day". Its first occurrence took place March 25th, 2006.

This event intends to serve as a constructive interface between academia start ups and economic decision-makers. Within this framework, debates and presentations introduce the state-of-the-art of development in Life Sciences.

Start-ups, decision-makers, both from Science and Business are invited to share their points of view during extremely short « elevator-pitches » which are aimed at describing their projects or expectations in order to network and interact with their colleagues or potential financial partners.

The event also gives the opportunity to meet successful people who have managed to develop techniques or innovative breakthroughs and who will share their experience with their colleagues and financial partners.
